You may have tossed aside your shoulder pads, or your bell bottoms, and your hammer pants are [read: should be] long gone, but we all have that Little Black Dress that has stood the test of time.
The LBD dates as far back as the 1920's; as fits got tighter, hemlines shorter, and women got bolder. Women were entering the workforce, and generally doing more with their lives, and now they needed garments that could easily go from day to night and were durable. It's amazing that this staple has remained with us to this day, I can't think of a more "timeless" piece.
Now, "little" can mean a lot of different things to different people, but for the most part, I think we can all agree that black is slimming/flattering - heck, sometimes, if I'm wearing black, I won't even wear Spanx! So, when you think about it, it's as if the little black dress was made for plus size women. This is why Curvy Sense is dedicated to taking the LBD to the next level for our plus size fashionistas. We offer an array of black dresses to take you from the office to the club, to the pancake house afterward. We're using lots of different fabrics, from cotton to lace, and faux leather, and adding trims and prints, to revamp your LBD. We want you to feel comfortable, sexy, and most importantly, we want you to have options, so you're not wearing the same dress like every other girl at the party.
Take a peek at what we have to offer; we truly believe we have a Little Black Dress for every girl out there!
